/Services / Content

Content designed to help brands stay visible, build trust, and grow consistently.

From strategy and creative direction through photography, video, editing and motion, we produce campaign assets, social-first content and brand films planned to work across every format and channel you need.

One production, built around what the content has to do, not just content for the sake of posting.

Good content shouldn't just fill feeds. It should move things forward.

A lot of businesses are producing more content than ever before, but still feel like they're constantly starting again.

One week it's trend-led videos. The next it's educational posts. Then campaign content. Then something completely different because the algorithm changed again.

Over time, the content starts feeling disconnected from the brand itself.

That's usually where we come in.

No noise.

Just clear, creative content built with purpose behind it.

Campaigns

What we produce

Campaign creative planned around one idea and produced for every placement it needs to run in, from paid social to digital and brand platforms.

You don't need more random content. You need a clearer system.

You need content that feels connected. Creative that supports the brand and business goals properly and a production process designed to keep momentum going long after launch.

Good content production starts before the camera comes out.

Before anything is filmed or photographed, we work through the brief behind it with you:

  1. 01Who needs to see it
  2. 02What they need to understand or feel
  3. 03Where it will live
  4. 04Which formats make sense
  5. 05What needs capturing on the day

The answers shape the concept, the shot list, the locations and the edit. They also decide whether a single shoot should feed a campaign, your social channels and your website at the same time.

Strategy and production sit with the same team, so the thinking behind the brief carries through to the final files.

How a content production works

Every project is scoped differently, but the shape stays the same, whether it's a single shoot day or a wider campaign.

  1. 01

    Brief & Objectives

We start with what the content needs to do, who it's for and where it will be used, so the scope reflects the outcome rather than a list of assets.

  2. 02

    Concept & Creative Direction

We develop the idea, tone and visual direction, and agree how the content should look and feel before anything is booked.

  3. 03

    Pre-production

Shot lists, scripts or interview questions, locations, people and scheduling are planned so the day runs to a clear plan.

  4. 04

    Production

We film and photograph to the plan, capturing what's needed for every agreed format, not just the main piece.

  5. 05

    Edit & Versioning

We edit, add motion where it's needed and cut versions for each channel and aspect ratio, with review rounds along the way.

  6. 06

    Delivery

Final files arrive organised and ready to use across your channels, campaigns and website.

One production, more than one asset.

One production shouldn't automatically mean one asset. Where it makes sense, we plan the day so the footage and photography can work harder across your channels.

For The SUMO Guy, that meant filming as many as 80 pieces of content in a single shoot day. For Iceland, each motion creative was delivered in multiple formats for Meta placements.

If the project is really a single film, our video production team covers brand, campaign and business films in more depth.

And if you need content every month rather than once, we also provide regular content support from our Liverpool base.

Why brands bring us in for content

Strategy and production together

We're a small team with senior people hands-on, so the thinking behind the brief carries through to the shoot and the edit.

Built for volume when it's needed

Our production workflows have captured as many as 80 pieces of content in a single shoot day, and turned static ads into motion at the pace a national retailer needed.

Photo, video and motion in one plan

Photography, filming, editing and motion are planned as one production, so assets look consistent wherever they end up.

Delivery to deadline

For the JD Foundation gala, multiple deliverables ran in parallel and everything was delivered ahead of schedule.

UK-wide production

We're based in Liverpool and shoot across the North West and the rest of the UK.

What clients say

“We brought Collective onboard to create both a new website for our charity, and develop multiple months of social media assets at one time. All of the feedback on our new look so far has been great, they’ve added an excitement and human-ness to what we do, which can sometimes be perceived as quite boring! The speed and quality is brilliant, they have nailed the art of fast response comms and the team always go above and beyond!”

Laura D'HeninCEO, Hope For The Future

“Collective are a fantastic media production agency to work with. They have been my number one choice to work with for several years now as they always impress and they always deliver. In addition to exceptional quality imagery, beautiful videos and excellent drone footage, it is their friendliness, fun and approachability that gives this team even more of an edge.”

Emma GreenMarketing & Communications Lead, Peel Waters

“Working with Courtney and the team has been great! Always open to ideas, and add their own ideas too! Super helpful”

Frequently asked questions

Get in touch
  • A content production agency plans and produces the content a brand needs: working out what it's for, developing the creative, then filming, photographing, editing and delivering it in the formats each channel needs. We handle that end to end, from the brief through to the final files.

  • Campaign content, social-first video, photography, brand and product content, interviews and testimonials, event content, motion and animation, and cutdowns and variants of all of the above. Most projects combine several.

  • Yes. We start with the audience, objective, message and channels, then plan the production around them. The same team takes it from concept through to the edit, so nothing gets lost between the strategy and the shoot.

  • Yes, when it's planned that way. We build the shot list around every format you need so the footage and photography can work across your channels. For The SUMO Guy, we filmed as many as 80 pieces of content in a single shoot day, and our Content Day is built around the same idea.

  • Yes. We film and photograph, often on the same shoot, so stills and video are planned together and look consistent. For a dedicated film, our video production work goes into more depth.

  • Yes. We're based in Liverpool and shoot across the North West and the rest of the UK. For the JD Foundation, for example, we captured stories across the country.

  • It depends on the scope. A single shoot day with a clear brief moves much faster than a multi-format campaign with concept development, several locations and rounds of edits. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand what you need and when you need it.

  • Yes. Often we're adding production capacity to an in-house team, as with Iceland, where we turned the team's existing static ads into motion creative. We can work from your brief and brand guidelines, or help shape the brief with you.

  • Video production focuses on making a specific film or set of films. Content production is broader: planning and producing a mix of video, photography, motion and campaign assets designed to work together across your channels. Many projects include both.
