Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Collective Digital website and what they're used for.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as embedded content, can also store or read information on your device.

How we use cookies

When you first visit, we ask whether you're happy for us to use optional cookies and embedded content. Nothing optional is used until you choose.

Necessary: we use one cookie to remember your cookie choices so we don't ask you again on every visit. This is always on.

Analytics (optional): if you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and how it is performing, such as which pages are viewed and which forms lead to enquiries. These cookies are set by Google.

Embedded media (optional): some pages, including our case studies and content production page, include YouTube videos. These only load if you allow embedded media, either in your cookie settings or by selecting “Enable video” on a video. YouTube may store or read information on your device when these videos load or play.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies on this website.

Google Analytics cookie durations are Google's defaults and are renewed each time you visit. For more about how YouTube and Google use information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Managing cookies

You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or the button below. If you turn analytics off, we stop using Google Analytics and remove its cookies from your browser where we can. If you turn embedded media off, videos will no longer load.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Rejecting optional cookies will not stop the website from working, and you can still contact us and use all of our forms.

Google also offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
